On Sunday, April 14, we held what I hope to be the first of many future Scene Nights, featuring scenes presented by my Spring 2024 Scene Work class. Storefront Theatre of Indianapolis was kind enough to allow us to use their space for this free event. I was unsure what kind of turnout we would have, but I think we ended up having about a dozen audience members. I was especially happy that the Artistic Directors of two of our local theaters were in attendance, and that one of my previous students was able to make it. Overall I was very happy with everyone’s work and thought that in some cases it was the best work I had seen from the actors. Everyone demonstrated growth from the first class to the final, and I hope that they were as proud of their work as I was. Check out the photos by Indy Ghost Light below.
